Bought from itch not easy to get it to run

Hiya I bought this Tilengine today from itch and I noticed that I have no clue how to get it to work.. 
Can I get some help please what to do? thank you. There was no executable file for me to run after I bought the software ..

Tilengine is not a software you directly run, but instead a programming library that you use to build your own games.
Both GitHub project page and the online documentation have detailed documentation about how to install, build the provided samples and run them. These samples are provided as demonstrations of its usage and features:

Oh I understand, I think you purchased Tilengine with a misconception of what it is. If you're not a programmer, it is of not use for you
