Would you like me to help with the docs? Is that possible?
I noticed setting up Windows and Linux is just a copy paste of what's in Github.
Also I noticed at the bottom of http://tilengine.org/doc/page_window.html it says "Escape" toggles the CRT effect, when it should be "Backspace"

Yes of course! Not only you can, but it would also be appreciated. That's the point of open source, collaboration. I guess there are lots of issues out there that I'm overlooking. The root of the documentation is here: https://github.com/megamarc/Tilengine/tree/master/docs.
It's incomplete, and then it's merged with the output of Doxygen.
Feel free to edit it
